Sailing North along the East Coast (April-June)

About

From April through June, Erin and Brian will sail north from the Bahamas, following the changing seasons and the rhythm of the wind toward Maine. Their route depends on the weather—each passage planned around favorable conditions and how far they can comfortably sail within a given window. Some legs may mean a few days offshore, just the boat, the stars, and the sound of the ocean carrying them toward the next adventure. Some of their favorite stops along the coast are St. Augustine, Florida, for its old-world charm, and Fernandina Beach on the Florida–Georgia line for its friendly, laid-back vibe. Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, offers that perfect mix of surf-town energy and southern hospitality, while Cape May, New Jersey, brings small-town seaside charm before the unforgettable experience of sailing past the skyline of New York City. From there, the journey winds through the Long Island Sound to the Hamptons, continuing on to Block Island, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard, where coastal charm, cool breezes, and long summer days mark their arrival to New England.
